Honoring Jay
On Wednesday, May 28, 2025 the fifth annual Jay Gilbert Memorial Golf Tournament will be held to honor and celebrate the life of Jay Gilbert. Jay was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Rectal Cancer in 2016 and courageously fought his battle until his passing in June 2019. He was a patient of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and was treated with exceptional care and kindness by an incredible team of doctors and nurses. Jay was a truly amazing man with a passion for life, family, friends and of course, golf. This tournament, created by his family, is a tribute to his life and will continue his legacy by raising cancer awareness and fundraising through the sport he enjoyed the most. All proceeds from the Jay Gilbert Memorial Golf Tournament will benefit the newly created Young-Onset Colorectal Cancer Center (YOCCC) at Dana-Farber and The Jimmy Fund.
We invite you to join us in making a difference in the lives of those affected by Colorectal cancers and supporting the YOCCC at Dana-Farber on a day that will be filled with golf, friends, laughs and many shared memories of Jay, who will be forever loved and missed by all who were so lucky to have known him. |
